I love neutrals but browns might be my new favorite color palette. I love that brown gives a space a vintage feel but also makes a space elegant. I never liked brown in general but after I saw Chris Love Julia paint their bedroom walls brown, I was hooked!
The Inspiration
There was no one thing that inspired this post other than brown. I have been seeing a lot of dining room designs with various heights of light pendants and wanted to recreate that look. This inspired my choice of lighting fixtures.
The Color Palette
I chose to go with various shades of brown for this design to avoid everything looking too matchy-matchy. I like that the many different shades add character as well as dimension to the design. One of my favorite colors to pair with brown is green, and I did this by adding a bit of greenery to the space.

The Furniture and Decor
These light pendants from Arhaus are one of my favorite items from the brand. I love the material and distressed color giving it a unique appearance.

I love the mixed-matched dining table and chairs. I’ve seen this trend a lot lately and I love the character that it brings to the room compared to having a matching set of tables and chairs.
I found this vase on Amazon the other day and have been obsessed with it ever since, I’ve been itching to use it in a design! I thought it was the perfect color for this space and worked great with the greenery.

One of my favorite pieces in this design is this faux olive tree; it looks real and it’s trunk has the most amazing shape. The faux tree adds more color to the design along with the greenery.

94″ Large Artificial Olive Tree
This bench from Lulu and Georgia is one of my favorite items from the brand and even better, it fits perfectly into this space! I love this bench because it is so versatile and it adds a more japandi vibe to this space. One thing I love doing is mixing different styles together and this bench allowed me to do that while looking flawlessly.
