Life can get hectic and with so much going on I took a much-needed break from Instagram and Blogging. I’m so glad to be back and share with you new designs and all things interiors.
McGee and Co inspired this design as I used many of my favorite pieces from the brand. One of my favorite things about this brand’s products is that they are versatile and work in almost any style.
The Color Palette
I kept this color simple with the use of various shades of brown. I love the subtle pop of color in the rug and how well the beige roses compliment the space.
The Furniture and Decor
My favorite piece in this design is the accent chair. The Gemma Chair instantly stole my heart with the color of the fabric the design of the legs and just the overall design of the chair. It was even more perfect because it matched this space, it was the ideal addition.
I still can’t get over these pillows! The design is perfect and the colors complimented the accent chairs so well. I love the touch of red/copper on the pillow; it brings more warmth to the design.
This faux olive tree has to be my favorite faux plant I’ve ever seen. I love that its narrow and the branches open up wide.
The round white vase on the coffee table is my new favorite vase! I love the tiny handles that probably serve no purpose and the circular indents that go around the vase.
I see this fluted bowl EVERYWHERE and it’s not surprising to me. I love the overall shape of this piece and of course, the fact that it’s fluted makes me love this piece even more!
Recently I’ve been loving the aged and brushed look on vases and planters. I love that this look has flaws and is very assymetrical.
