I think there is a trend going on here. I love a green, brown, and black color palette but I’ve been loving it more than usual this week. Along with that, enters my new obsession with tapestries. I can’t get enough of either of them!
The Inspiration
I decided to stick to the same “theme” this week of green, brown, black, and of course, tapestries. So I guess my inspiration for this design was my last design. Click here to check it out if you haven’t already.

The Color Palette
Unlike my last design, I chose darker flooring and window trim because I wanted to add a bit of drama to the design. I didn’t want this one to be exactly the same as my other design but wanted them to compliment each other at the same time. This is also why I wanted to add brown into the mix. Both light and dark wood furniture in this design complimented the other colors so well.

The Furniture and Décor
This design all started with the Athena Tapestry from Anthropology. I love the vintage feel of this piece and the muted green is absolutely beautiful.

I pulled the color from the tapestry for these accent chairs and found these gorgeous ones from West Elm. I also chose these accent chairs especially because of the cane! The tapestry has a very strong vintage feel to it and the cane chairs bring down the vintage feel and make the space a little more modern with a hint of coastal.

I also chose this chair because the coffee table has a very antique look. These darker brown Dixon End Tables from All Modern were just the perfect touch. These end tables work very well with the darker brown coffee table and the lighter brown accent chairs. It also works with the different color greens from the tapestry, accent chairs, and the rug.

My choice in greenery was simple, it matched. My all-time favorite from Afloral is this Preserved Plume Reed Grass, it is beautiful and the colors of green and light brown were perfect for this space.
